craving

It swirled quickly
The consummation couldn’t have occurred faster
I revelled in the delicacy
And the intense purity of sweetness

First the cratered centre
Cocoaed and creamed like you’ve never seen
And lightly patted down
Compressed
To fill the craving I sought at

Then the edges
may as well have been the ring of fire
In the sheer explosion of activity
that I savoured and devoured

My middle shakes and jiggles
in recognition of my desires
but I ask, which is more worth it
Experiencing life to the fullest
Or constant unresolved yearning?
