improvement

if this is improvement
then the grade would be granted an incomplete
it’s not a failure; merely a reclassification
of my goals, of my ideals, even of me

if this is improvement
my repair bill, while steep, is nothing compared to the mortgage still owed
nothing to the countless hours it still will require
to reach a sales point

if this is improvement
I need quality assurance that I can get my money back on a few things
for certainly missteps are allowed to be overlooked
in the name of improvement.
