loyalty versus reality

if loyalty is what is needed
then friendship must be a given
if reality is what dictates these confines
then today doom must be accepted

if loyalty equates for you communication
then reciprocity comes with emancipation
if reality is what defines these settings
then unusual circumstances can rationalise a disconnection

if loyalty is going to be offered
then the boomerang must be sent back
if reality is the past, present and future
then maturity comes not with age, but with experience

what you ask for is superiority
what you state is your moral high ground
what you demand is some sort of solidarity
what you miss is the obvious humanity
what you forget is supposedly no blunder
what you rationalise is incorrect

what you think is that you have persevered
what you know is years of toil
what you feel is unplugged from power
what you lack is organisational comprehensiveness
what you forget is your diminutive mandate
what you need has yet to arrive.
