mature evolution
it’s not a matter of even being right
anymore.
clarity breathing down my spine
that finally exists
says
don’t take this at face value
and let it be spent like common courtesy
or currency
this is not a matter of finding a voice
finally.
wisdom likes to hide and pretend she’s not welcome
when I say
silly things and over-the-top metaphors
that don’t jive with my logic.
this is living proof of what I actually believe
today.
the way I know things that need to be shared
because they want to be
not because
as I would pretend
the universe told me to open up.
this is not a pretentious look at the world’s state
currently.
but it’s a refreshing new take on how
maturity
evolves
and how I have too.
