so far, so good

The journey continues. It’s day five of two thousand six, and already it’s been a pretty good year. why on earth would I say that so soon?

because:

• I think that things are changing for the better.
  I think everytime we have the right open their mouths, chaos ensues. It’s not a matter of controlling their radical elements, it’s that their radical elements *are* the right. They celebrate their radical elements who are so completely out of touch with the rest of society on everything.
• I shot a pretty good, decent game of pool this week.
  If sinking three balls in a row counts as decent, then I did decent. let’s forget about all the other mistakes I made. it was progress.
• made-up chickpea curry is amazing and tasty.
  rum’s spices are the best, and homemade food that I created always tastes better than… yes, even Viet Thai.
• Zelda: what a creation.
  If only I didn’t have to resort to a step-by-step guide. sheesh. I am ashamed that I didn’t learn anything from all those logged hours at video games.
• Making lists is fun.
  I especially like the secret kind that never get revealed. oops, I’ve gone too far.
• I like driving and I still haven’t driven that much.
  My bus pass is always waiting for me to use it.
• Food, shelter, clothing that still fits. I have the essentials.
  that astrology report on my future year says accept this stuff as the good stuff in life, and bring that to those who do not have it. That’s my goal.
• People are wonderful.

So far, so good.
