succumb
One cannot spell fun with competition
Neither with win, neither with lose
For the forces of the competitive spirit have failed to embrace me
And I hope they miss casting their shadow on all
Neither the business world nor the dream of sports
Can take grasp of my ability to cooperate
The defeat is not in winning or losing
But instead: to succumb to capitalism.
Because I’ve seen the destruction
The torment and warping of the mind
Takes place the moment one plays
Takes the ball in one’s hands and desires to succeed.
