Takeover

If what I know is coming to an end…
Then what future is there here for me?
I doubt that anything remote to socialism can occur
When the forces of evil are
Staring at our futures and
Drooling from the opportunity they see there

Similar to the opportunity I see now
One where the future holds bright
For idealists and socialists alike
One where this dream of capitalism fading seems somehow
Reasonable
And fair and balanced

Kind of like those times
when I used to share my optimism
with more than just
allies in the virtual world.
