Raising the Minimum Wage to LICO

People: the economy is on a roll, profits are rolling in, and now, finally, we’re basically legislating that poverty is illegal in Saskatchewan.

There has never been a government with those guts. Say what you want about anything (please, seriously attempt to argue with me) but that is the most progressive, wonderful thing our government has done in 16 years. It even tops $100 million in inner-city redevelopment that we announced last year.

I am so proud to be a card-carrying New Democrat with an announcement like that. It warms the cockles of my heart.
